In celebration of the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing, Nike released an exclusive Air Force One for Team USA. The traditional all white colorway features simple yet standout touches of Red, White and Blue. This was a highly exclusive release and the model is a very rare find. Originally released in 1982, the Air Force 1 is named after the presidential aircraft. Designed by Bruce Kilgore, it was the first basketball shoe to feature revolutionary air pocket technology.

Virgil Abloh presents a relatively straightforward take on Bruce Kilgore’s design with this Off-White x Air Force 1 Low. That isn’t to suggest there aren’t unique details on the reconstructed build: in addition to a mix of ripstop and suede, the upper features taped seams and a white Swoosh attached via zigzag stitching. Exposed foam and misplaced tags appear on the tongue, while ‘LOGO’ inscribed on the heel tab delivers a final meta flourish.
